As she approaches therapy through a relational lens, Margaret relies heavily on the power of human connection. She incorporates CBT, DBT, ACT, Motivational Interviewing, and Family Systems interventions into her therapeutic approach to provide the leading evidence-based care for her clients. In guiding her clients with compassion and honesty, Margaret seeks to empower adolescents to overcome challenges, discover their true worth, and live boldly according to their values.
While gaining experience working with various different populations, Irene found that her passion lies with understanding and treating individuals with Eating Disorders. This is a niche she plans to specialize in is working toward obtaining a PSY-D in the future to help her do that. When she’s not busy providing care for her clients, Irene enjoys spending her spare time surrounded by her friends and family.
Erin has experience providing individual, couples, and family therapy in an outpatient setting to children, adolescents, and adults experiencing mental health issues, including depression, anxiety, OCD, PTSD, eating disorders, disruptive, impulse-control, and conduct disorders. Erin has also worked with the County of Los Angeles focusing on adults with severe and persistent mental illness, including mood, personality, bipolar, dissociative, psychotic, and schizophrenia spectrum disorders. She has volunteered in various mental health settings since 2015, ranging from music therapy at rehabilitation centers, mentoring at risk homeless youth, and with individuals in crisis.
Erin is a compassion focused therapist and works from a strength-based and client centered framework. She incorporates CBT, DBT, solution focused therapy, family systems, and motivational interviewing into her therapeutic approach.
Along Erin’s journey, she has been passionate about working with adolescents. She joined the Ascend team as a Primary Therapist to help our clients rediscover their worth, raise their self-esteem, gain confidence, and create a life worth living.
As a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner at Ascend Healthcare, Torri believes in providing a holistic, patient centered, and individualized approach. She does this by collaborating closely with caregivers and therapists, obtaining thorough evaluations, reinforcing adaptive coping mechanisms, and closely monitoring responses to medications through weekly follow-up appointments.
Anjuli currently holds a bachelor’s degree from Berklee College of Music and hopes to incorporate music into her therapeutic work with the youth. Anjuli is deeply committed to utilizing every skill she’s acquired to better support Ascend’s clients, providing inspiration and encouragement as they navigate their treatment process.
