Lisa obtained her Masters Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and Counseling in 2009, and became a board certified behavior analyst (BCBA) in 2010. For over 17 years, she has worked extensively with children and teens with both behavior and social issues. She supports families with a child/teen with emotional disturbance, ADHD, ASD, ODD, OCD, anxiety and school refusal. She creates a behavior plan and then works with parents on effective implementation. She has worked extensively with treatment teams in supporting behavior reduction and social goals, and worked with parents when their teen is transitioned out of programs and back home. The goal of treatment is always to reduce maladaptive behaviors, while increasing more appropriate behaviors, and Lisa excels at this.
